We are taking a unique approach to help overcome the barriers to the spread of the gospel. We have developed leadership programs that teach our young people, not only theory but practice as well, by emphasizing a ‘learning by doing’ culture in our ministry. We are constantly teaching our members to find ways to integrate into secular societies through academic and career development programs that improve interpersonal skills, personal management, reading comprehension and writing that seem simple on the surface but have a huge long term impact on a child or young adult’s life. These opportunities allow our young people to make friends, build trust, and introduce Jesus.
We, with the existing church leadership, are working to foster a positive learning environment where young adults are able to test their ideas and prove their efficacy through data-driven reporting and analysis. We understand from the Spirit of Prophecy that, “The work of God in this earth can never be finished until the men and women comprising our church membership rally to the work and unite their efforts with those of ministers and church officers.” (9T 116.4)
